1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Baking Soda
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. In a medium saucepan combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup corn syrup and 2 tablespoons vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is boiling and the temperature reaches 310℉ on a candy thermometer (make sure the point of the thermometer doesn't touch the pan- that can give you an inaccurate reading). Remove the pan from the heat and quickly stir in 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Pour the mixture on the baking sheet but do not spread it out. Let the candy cool to room temperature before breaking it into pieces and eating.
